Active instructional strategies and learning for PE (Secondary): Kununurra Conference
This whole day practical professional learning course will develop the concepts of games sense and active thinking games.
The professional learning course focuses on promoting active and healthy environments in a secondary educational setting.
Participants will engage in a range of teaching, learning and instructional strategies aimed at maximising learning time and promoting active lifestyles. This workshop applies the concepts of games sense with critical and active thinking skills.
The workshop is linked to the Western Australian HPE curriculum and will guide secondary school educators in developing active-thinking skilful students in the application of game play concepts and strategies.
Collaborative opportunities to discuss implementation at your school are incorporated.
This course is suitable for those teaching Years 7 -12.
